Karine Pierson is a skilled piano tuner based in Michigan, with over two decades of experience serving students, families, and institutions across the state. She completed her apprenticeship in 2003 with Dick Lynch Piano Service in Howell, Michigan, where she developed a strong foundation in piano care and maintenance.

Karine has worked with a wide range of instruments, including tuning harpsichords at Wayne State University and servicing pianos in homes, churches, temples, studios, and performance spaces throughout Michigan. She is a former member of the Northern Michigan Piano Technicians Guild.

While her primary focus is piano tuning, Karine also performs minor repairs and provides expert assessments, connecting clients with trusted technicians when more extensive work is needed. She specializes in a tempered tuning method designed to help pianos drift evenly out of tune over time, allowing them to sound in tune for longer between services.

Tuning primarily by ear, Karine draws on her refined sense of perfect pitch—developed through over 40 years as a string player—to deliver precise, musical results tailored to each instrument.
